Iodine Is  used together with its derivatives in the synthesis of some pharmaceutical products including: antibiotics, corticosteroids, cardiovascular drugs, etc. It is used as a raw material for the manufacture of iodophors and other disinfectants for topical use. Widely used in the manufacture of contrast media for radiology. Catalyst for making resins.

Peracetic acid
 

Balanced mixtures of Hydrogen Peroxide and Acetic Acid With its low pH and its oxidizing power, it is an excellent biocide. It is applied in water treatment, disinfection of hard surfaces, paper processes, fruit washing, equipment sterilization and aseptic conditioning, among others. Water-soluble polymers based on acrylic, polycarboxylic or polycarboxylate acids. Mainly dispersing products but that can also act as corrosion inhibitors and stabilizers for water treatment systems; besides being used as a dispersant for other diverse applications in the industry.

CORROSION INHIBITORS

HEDP
Hydroxy-Ethylene Diphosphonic Acid Organic phosphonate scale and corrosion inhibitor. It can form chelates with metal ions such as Fe, Cu and Zn. Good resistance against alkalis, acids and oxidation by chlorine. When used in antifouling applications the recommended dosage is 1-10mg/L. When used as a corrosion inhibitor, the recommended dose is 10-50 mg/L. When used as a cleaning agent, the recommended dosage is 1000-2000mg/L.

Potassium chloride
Potassium Chloride It is used for the preparation of potassium brines for the repair of wells and as a completion fluid in oil and natural gas extraction operations. It has advantages such as that it is a natural product, it has a low content of secondary salts and heavy metals, and it is completely soluble in water. It is used as an alternative to sodium chloride or table salt, allowing manufacturers to lower the sodium level of their products.

xanthan gum
Xanthan Gum Used to control the rheology of the final product. The polymer has a great effect on properties such as texture and appearance. Its viscosity is relatively high at low concentrations and the solutions are stable in a wide pH range even with high salt content and temperatures, which is a favorable characteristic that makes it suitable for use as a thickener.
